Stegreif „Bamboo Imaginary“

Bamboo is a rhizomatic plant that spreads in underground branches. A common feature of the numerous bamboo species, which all belong to the grass family, is the rapid growth of the culms with a tube-like cross-section. As a material, bamboo opens up a special space of possibilities. When split, the material can be made into fine handicraft items. The flexible and pressure-resistant rods can be connected just as well to form room-filling constructions. The impromptu offered is intended as an invitation to explore the constructive and creative imaginative space of bamboo. The aim is to be guided by the material in order to develop new forms in their own building experiments.
