In this impromptu we deal with the counter-design as a method of architectural criticism. The aim is to formulate a design that challenges, that reveals contradictions, that stands in opposition to an existing building or value system. The topics of this in the impromptu design exercise tie in with this year’s Monday evening talks and the lecture series of architectural theory within the module GUT1a. Both are dedicated to architectural criticism.
