Internships are essential to prepare for later employment. In the Master’s degree programmes of the Faculty of Architecture, too, the compulsory six-month internship provides valuable insights into the variety of possible professional fields for which the study of architecture or urban planning prepares students. Under the title „Praktikumsgeflüster“, a significant treasure of knowledge is to be lifted and made accessible. Guided by concrete questions, students of the Master’s degree programmes are to be given the opportunity to share their practical professional experience with students of the Bachelor’s degree programme. Once a month, interested students gather in front of a mobile stage that frames the “trainee canapé”. The invited guest, a former intern, sits there, is interviewed by student interview partners and reports on her or his practical experience.
